So my boy, LV (Louie Vito) is in the midst of the pre-qualifiers for the Winter Olympics next month. In the shred world, there’s a lot more to what we do than one event that opens it up to the mainstream world every four years. In fact, most of us don’t give a shit about what happens on tv, as long as it’s viewed in a “correct” manner. However, you have to give it up to the riders who are risking their lives to push tricks that we’ve never seen before. So far, one rider, Kevin Pearce, is in a coma in Utah due to a head injury practicing the double-double. Heads don’t realize you can DIE from riding. I love what I do, but I also love living. (I’m getting closer to that day of actually wearing a helmet...well almost) Back to LV. The next few weeks are intense. From press tours to the final Grand Prix contests, LV’s got a packed schedule. The crazy thing is that he’s probably had the least time to practice amongst everyone, but is killing it in the pre quals. #2 ain’t bad the last 3 gigs. Check the vid below to see.
