Looking for:
I would like to take a design position working closely with research & development in an active/outdoor company, as I have a background in functional clothing and biomechanics as it relates to design. I would prefer to live in a mid-sized active city (e.g. Boulder, CO).

Statement:
I was raised in Maine, skiing, camping, canoeing, hiking on a daily basis. I captained the Cornell University Nordic Ski Team and achieved All-American status in the USCSA League in 2008. I have also been involved in the Outdoor Club at Cornell and will be joining Pearl Izumi in Boulder, Colorado in their Design and Development departments this June as an intern. My focus in design throughout my four years at Cornell has been on functional apparel, specifically outdoor and athletic wear. I have held four research positions at Cornell, one of which was centered on firefighter turnout gear, and have worked for the companies Tex Tech Industries, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Jill McGowan as an intern. I have also been honored with the Outstanding Senior of 2009-2010 for my department, along with four other department awards and recurring Dean’s List awards.
