VIDEO: Shaun White On Olympic Letdown "Course Not Up To Standard"
White stopped by HuffPost Live to chat about his collection of Oakley sunglasses, snowboarding and what he does in the offseason. White said the failure in Sochi has been a blessing in disguise, and he does not blame the course conditions for his finish.
White: "I don't want to talk too much trash on it because we're all in the same boat. The course was not up to standard, but it was not up to standard for everyone. It was an even playing field... It was the best and worst thing to happen to me. I kind of had the worst thing you could think of happen and I'm like, 'Wow, I'm still here. I'm fine. It's not the end of the world.' I'm even more excited to go back and compete than I was before the Olympics. I'm really pumped up about it."
