B$Z: Forbes Magazine Recognizes Pastrana's Nitro Circus as One of America's Most Promising Companies

Nitro Circus, a youth media firm and action sports spectacle that is a worldwide phenomenon, has been named to Forbes Magazine’s 2015 list of America’s Most Promising Companies. Ranked #22 out of 100 companies selected, the list honors businesses that lead in growth and management and obtain overall compelling business models. Founders Travis Pastrana, Jeremy Rawle, Gregg Godfrey, and Michael Porra started the fully integrated global youth entertainment company back in 2003. Originally a small DVD series filmed in Pastrana’s Maryland backyard, Nitro Circus grew into a successful MTV show with more than 46 million U.S. viewers and broadcast in 60 countries worldwide. The next step was Nitro Circus Live, which has captured the imagination of fans across the globe with a string of sell-out shows and record-breaking crowds in more than a dozen different countries. The company recently moved its headquarters from Australia to San Clemente, California directly following a strategic business investment by The Raine Group in November 2013. The first-ever North American tour hit the U.S. shortly after that in January 2014, selling out New York’s coveted Madison Square Garden among other large arenas around the country.
