Kate Gaeir, principal and owner of Akimbo Communications, has over fifteen years of experience in the snowsports and action sports industries through managing PR campaigns for Smith, Apex Ski Boots, Spyder Active Sports, K2 Skis and others. Based in Portland, Oregon, Gaeir established Akimbo in 2008 to integrate her knowledge and experience in marketing, public relations and event management to provide a full-service agency that focuses on building creative and inspiring media campaigns for clients.
