EVENT: Nation-Wide Obstacle Race Stops at Cycle Ranch

Cycle Ranch MX is pleased to host the San Antonio stop of the nation-wide Atlas Race on Saturday, March 14, 2015. The Atlas Race is an obstacle course race that includes rope-climbing barricades, barbed wire mud pits, balance beams and several other challenging obstacles. 
The event will include the option of two courses, “The Boss” or “The Ranger”. “The Boss” is 3-5 miles long with 20 obstacles and “The Ranger” is a tougher course that is 7-9 miles long with 25+ obstacles.  Participants have the option of participating in an open heat, designed for racers who are not competing, or the elite heat, designed for competitive racers who want a cash prize.
Pre-registration for all courses are open until the day of the event. “The Boss” pre-registration is $95 per person and $100 on the day of the event for the open heats. “The Boss” elite heat pre-registration is $135 and $140 on the day of the event. “The Ranger” open heat pre-registration is $105 and $110 on the day of the event. There is no elite heat for “The Ranger” course.
In addition to “The Boss” and “The Ranger” course, there will also be two Atlas Race courses set up for children. The 4 to 8-year-old course is one-half of a mile in length and the 9 to 13-year-old course is 1 mile in length. Registration for the kids’ courses is $25. Pre-registration is available until March 13 here. Participants who finish the course will receive an Atlas Race medal and t-shirt.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (CST) with several races taking place throughout the day. Parking fees will be $10 per car.  
Other Atlas Race locations include Kansas City, KS, Portland, OR and Tampa, FL. The event will return to South Texas in Austin on Nov. 21, 2015.
