B$Z: G3 Retains Summit Sales NW To Manage Pacific Northwest Sales
G3 Genuine Guide Gear, maker of innovative backcountry ski and snowboard equipment, this month retained the well-respected Pacific Northwest rep agency, Summit Sales NW, to oversee G3’s retail relationships in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska, effective immediately. Summit Sales NW is well known in the territory for its 20 years of Specialty Outdoor service. The agency is headquartered in downtown Seattle, with a new showroom to support dealer previews and business meetings.
“G3 is a highly respected name in both the Pacific Northwest, where the company was founded, and in the ski industry as a whole. It’s a brand that has really brought its game to an exciting new level in the past few years with the introduction of the Ion binding family, its carbon-fiber ski knowledge, and its industry leading name in climbing skins,” said Dave Fitzgerald, Principal at Summit Sales. “We’re thrilled to help G3 strengthen its brand awareness and retail partnerships in a territory so close to its Vancouver, BC, headquarters.”
Along with Fitzgerald, Summit Sales NW includes principals Rob Birzell and Kris Stahl, and associates Justin McGregor and Drew Hambleton. The agency also represents Cascade Designs/MSR, Osprey, SCARPA, and Powertraveller.

This fall, G3 introduces two more bindings in the Ion family, the new Ion 10 and the lightweight touring ION 12 LT, in addition to several new touring skis and a completely re-engineered climbing skin line, designed to reduce SKU volume and retail space by fitting a wider range of ski lengths.
