Raleigh Bicycles Invests in Digital Marketing with Hire of Scott Schilling

Raleigh Bicycles welcomes Scott Schilling as director of marketing, effective immediately. Utilizing his background in digital marketing, Schilling will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications for the Raleigh Bicycles brand.

“The addition of Scott to the Raleigh team affirms our investment in digital marketing,” said Larry Pizzi, senior vice president of Raleigh Bicycles. “We headed into 2016 with a great product line and new brand message. By focusing on fun and great starts, we want to make Raleigh bikes appealing to a larger group of prospective consumers in North America and inspire the nation to choose our bikes. Scott brings the skills and experience needed to help us reach our goals.”

Schilling joins the team with experience in web and e-commerce, brand development, and omni-channel marketing. He started his career at SKORA, a start-up running shoe company, as brand content manager. Most recently, Schilling worked at Stanley & Aladdin Brands as the digital marketing and e-commerce manager, where he engaged new SEO strategy, implemented a new social media strategy, and planned and executed brand e-commerce strategy for web and mobile platforms.

Raleigh Bicycles unveiled its 2016 line with an updated, interactive website that welcomes visitors into the Raleigh community. The site’s illustrations capture Raleigh’s ideal cycling world and serve as a reminder of what it’s all about – the happiness that comes with riding a bike. Schilling will be instrumental in ensuring remains enjoyable to explore for retailers and riders.
