BYRD Partners with Uber on Weekend Survival Kits for UberCHOPPER Flights to Coachella

BYRD, creator of grooming and lifestyle products inspired by the gentleman surfer, has partnered with Uber to provide weekend survival kits on all outbound UberCHOPPER flights from Los Angeles to Coachella music festival.  After a successful launch during the festival’s first weekend, UberCHOPPER has continued the survival kit offering for all passengers flying to Coachella’s second weekend, which officially starts today.

“BYRD looks forward to our annual pilgrimage to Coachella so when the opportunity arose to partner with Uber to create survival kits for their helicopter service it was an easy decision,” said Chase Wilson, BYRD’s founder.  “Festival goers definitely want to travel light so our weekend survival kit is stocked with curated essentials that make heading straight from the helicopter to the festival grounds a breeze.”

The customized his and her kits contain a selection of BYRD products including the brand’s Light Pomade, its proprietary Pocket Comb (made from surfboard fin composite) and for that quintessential summer hair look, Surfspray.  Also included in the kits are essentials from Richer Poorer, Shade Sunscreen, Body Bauble and more.  UberCHOPPER flights depart from the Van Nuys Airport and touch down at the Indio BLADE Desert Lounge in just under an hour with refreshments provided by Casamigos Tequila and Penta water.
