Royal Robbins Joins The Conservation Alliance

The Conservation Alliance today welcomes Royal Robbins as its newest member. The heritage brand’s commitment to The Conservation Alliance is the latest in a series of new environmental and corporate social responsibility initiatives led by CEO Michael Millenacker.

“Environmental safekeeping is the foundation of our brand and we are proud to support the Conversation Alliance and its mission to protect wild habitats,” said Millenacker.

This new partnership will continue to help support and bolster The Conservation Alliance’s efforts to fund conservation organizations working to protect North America’s last wild spaces. With the help of Alliance supporters, the organization has helped protect 50 million acres, 2,991 river miles, removed or halted 29 dams, purchased 12 climbing areas and designated five marine reserves.

“We are proud and honored to welcome Royal Robbins into The Conservation Alliance,” said John Sterling, executive director of The Conservation Alliance. “Royal Robbins’ commitment to the environment and social responsibility stems from their origins and extends to all aspects of their business; they will certainly play an important role in the outdoor industry’s collective commitment to protecting the places we love to play.?"?
