I’ve been involved with idea generation and the mechanical design/ development of a wide variety of products ranging from skis and snowboard bindings, to military flight simulators for over 19 years. I do my best to keep on top of the current market trends and frequently attend SIA. I am quite familiar with designing a product to meet the needs of an action sports enthusiast, as I have worked closely with these customers in the past, and am one myself. My aerospace and DOD background have provided me know-how with composites, close tolerances, and critical design specs. Furthermore, I have experience working on-site with the manufacturing line in Asia, and know how to handle manufacturing challenges, even with potential cultural barriers at hand.
