My name is Heather Traughber. I have a B.S. in Business Administration. I have 15+ yrs corporate experience in HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Worker's Comp. I'm a sports enthusiast and worked in the sports industry a long time ago, once O'Neill now La Jolla Group.  I love action sports and grew up playing beach volleyball.  Lived in Southern Cali right after college, currently live in Louisiana, and looking to relocate back to southern Cali.  Looking to get back doing what I love most. 

Convert new clients to Netchex payroll software.
Assist gathering pertinent information from clients
Enter in all data for new payroll clients
Verify data
Organize and file documents
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and coworkers
Assist in other work duties assigned

Payroll & Benefits Accountant

Handle personal insurance policies for company owner
Post payroll journal using Great Plains
Assist with 401k enrollment and any employee related questions
Assist CFO with special projects
Scan in vessel and personal injury/illness reports
Send authorizations to physicians and clinics for employee medical treatment
Set up prescription cards for EEs
Get all Dr notes/PT notes/work status reports to put in EE file
Set up STD and LTD EE claims
Keep personnel managers updated on EE medical treatment, medications, limitations until released to go back to work
Communicate with EE while they are out of work upon their return to work
Approve and post invoices
Close out files
Coordinate annual company golf event for 400+vendors
