• Solely managed Product Development and Production 
• Tracked orders from development to pre-production samples through final production.
• Responsible for sourcing new materials to provide the best quality and best profit margin.

• Negotiate cost with Buyers to meet sales margins.

• Worked closely with Design on product development to guarantee tech packs are completed to customer standards.
• Sent tech packs to overseas factory and communicate daily to confirm samples shipped in a timely manner.
• Managed materials, PU, PVC & Metal, from overseas to ensure all test reposts will pass customer and US standards. 
• Quality Control check all samples before they ship to customer. 
• Follow up with Buyers for comments and approval on PP and TOP samples.
• Managed inventory for In-Stock to guarantee supply and demand 

Product Development / Production Manager

• Assisted designers by modifying and refining designs to conform to customer specifications,
  price points, and corporate margins.
• Drew flats, recolored artwork and created repeat patterns utilizing Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Researched latest trends and create trend boards for inspiration and presentations for major accounts.
• Responsible for style and collection creation in PLM system, line sheets and bill of materials.
• Created BOM’s daily in PLM in order to work closely with the in-house sample department and factories       overseas to develop samples, trouble shoot problems and ensure samples arrive on time by constantly    tracking samples and/or swatches. 
• Maintained and update all changes in PLM for collections and individual styles as the needs of customers change and distribute design sheets and changes to sketches to the appropriate team members.
• Managed and organize all elements of the system and physical material library from fabrics, artwork, trims, zippers, 

Product Development / Design Assistant

• Utilize Essentus and Enovia to create/modify purchase orders
• Communicate with vendors regularly on PO flow and issues 
• Maintain MPR300 WIP tracking report on a regular basis for accuracy
• Assist inquiries in regards to pricing, product information, shipments, and orders
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries
• Maintain company standards for service including PO Log, Immediate Order Log and Problem PO Log regarding discounts, delays and logistic updates and close open balances in Essentus
• Work together with buyers in unit allocation, PO receiving dates and floor set samples to achieve maximum proficiency and accuracy
• Assist the accounting department in troubleshooting invoicing errors. 
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested by the Production Manager.

Production Assistant

• Support Production Manager in all areas in order to deliver the most commercial style     in the most profitable way, while adhering to brand standards. 
• Negotiate all purchase order details with suppliers ensuring best result for the business.
• Assist in all areas of the buying process to ensure that stock is ordered and delivered on time.
• Manage and maintain shelf stock, web store and catalog inventory.
• Oversee all shipping logistics for all production channels.
• Work closely with accounting regarding vendor payments, including past dues and research.
• Quickly build relationships with key customers and vendors.       
• Liaise with all departments to relay necessary information in order to provide the best possible product.
• Assign new SKUs and update existing SKUs.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Assistant Production Coordinator

• Provide excellent communication with licensing partners to meet approval deadlines. 
• Manage licensing spreadsheet for all seasons and everyday product. 
• Maintain close relationships to ensure that all comments and changes are communicated clearly to our Asia counterparts.
• Build tech packs and design files using Illustrator to send to Asia for samples to be completed. 
• Review material test reports to ensure all goods were to company standards. Materials included fabric, metals, resins, plastics, glass and ceramics. 
• Review and photograph all samples. Create Photoshop files with sample changes when necessary.
• Update and add new comments to the product development database.
• Create material boards for Asia vendors. Manage all fabric samples and fabric closet, including 56 fabric binders and hundreds of fabric swatches. 

Product Development

• Selected materials and trim for innovative product development.
• Worked closely with design and overseas counterparts to ensure metals and leathers were within US and company standards.
• Chose colors based on brand image, seasonal direction and trends.
• Collaborated with design through all phases of product development and production. 
• Generated and updated customer styles and generated and maintained UPC information using MAS 90 and Inovis.
• Created purchase orders for UPC tickets, accessory trim and hangers. 
• Designed and produced barcode labels using the Monarch Design system.
• Effectively communicated daily with international and US factories. 
• Ensured quick schedule turn around within 24 hours, and maintained superior records of accuracy.
