Founder

Lead the launch of a new golf apparel brand for Tharanco (owners of Greg Norman Collection & Dunning Golf) called Tourney. Develop new partnerships with customers by aligning brand strengths with customer needs. Manage global sales, product line, distribution, forecasting and P&L. Align with Product Teams, Operations, Marketing and all business units and develop effective business strategies and GTM plans to hit revenue and margin goals. Focus on green grass customers, major distribution channels including retail, online, and golf course management groups. Negotiate program pricing for specific accounts.

Head of Tourney Apparel

Build and restructure the global sales organization to propel business growth in worldwide sales channels, including subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, and OEM customers. Drive the organization's revenue by enforcing best practices, developing sales business plans, creating worldwide strategies, innovation pipelines, and cultivating strong relationships. Accountable for key deliverables driving product penetration while maintaining gross margin. Accurately forecast product demand monthly to effectively level load two company owned factories and maximize capacity and profits. Lead global sales and product team, including the Europe Sales Manager, Asia Sales Manager, US Sales Manager, and Inside Sales Manager. Influence, motivate and pull team members together to deliver on sales targets and strategies. Serve as day-to-day relationship manager with high profile accounts, including major retail and original equipment manufacturers. Work closely with marketing, product engineering, manufacturing and operations to provide input to the development of new product roadmaps to meet customer requirements and company goals. Review and analyze financial statements on a regular basis, including profitability by customer, region, and product, including departmental spend.  Strong commercial skills including: go to market plans, selling process, pricing, costing, accurate forecasting, terms and conditions, sales strategy development/execution, negotiating and sales proposal development. 

Vice President - Global Sales

As part of the senior management team, lead the global golf accessories business unit. Point person for GTM launches with sales, marketing and other departments. Lead cross-functional teams in design, sourcing, and development for on time launch and within cost and unit projections. Provide to key stakeholders seasonal and long-term plans that include innovation, product, sales, merchandising, PR, GTM, and POS alignment. Create vision and strategy direction to drive revenue verses competitive positioning. Control product design and production calendars and line plan efficiencies for two golf brands, Cobra Golf and Puma Golf. Build and present financial and product analysis for all categories golf bags, travel gear, headwear, belts, gloves, electronics and others in quarterly global line plan meetings. Work alongside sales teams, product launch teams, marketing, and financial planning to drive sell through and marketing strategies. Drive innovations with the design team in Germany and sourcing team in Hong Kong. Travel to current and potential suppliers and negotiate sourcing deals, lead times, and quality control (QC). Evaluate vendor reliability. Communicate vision, product architecture, business unit strategies, and goals. Review product needs in all markets. Present and sell product lines at international sales meetings and in the global retail environment. Present innovation pipeline strategy quarterly to global stakeholders. Work with PUMA athletes to create and bring to market game changing products. Travel to global markets to support subsidiaries. Increased category revenue each year, increased distribution, reduced production lead times, increased go in margin, and increased product line efficiencies during tenure.
