Purchasing and Logistics Manager

• Manage a team of 9 Production and Logistics Coordinators 
• Manage all purchase orders and WIP to ensure on time delivery and fulfillment. 
• Manage the SKU planning capability and ensure that vendor capacity and delivery schedules align with the merchandising and availability plan. 
• Manage the overlapping product life cycle calendars and hold vendors and internal teams accountable to deadline targets.
 • Manage style master to ensure product data is consistent and effective and reporting data is populated and distributed.
• Manage third party freight forwarders to drive competitive rates and on-time delivery. 
• Recommend strategies to reduce lead times and improve payment terms.
 • Develop and implement supplier manuals and scorecards for all factories / vendors to enable supplier evaluations on overall performance. 
• Develop processes and programs to support cross-functional teams with effectively tracking the product development phases of a purchase order to ensure delivery and / or quality issues are addressed prior to receipt. 
• Partner with the demand planning team to assist with inventory issue resolution, as it arises. 
• Design, develop, and implement a weekly product quality report for distribution to the leadership team. 
• Communicate department performance, projects, and calendar updates / deadlines to the leadership team. 
• Manage, develop, and mentor the purchasing team consisting of 6 purchasing coordinators.
 • Work with the vendors to overcome current supply challenges (e.g., longer transit times, factory shut downs, etc…)

Oversees all production/development/sourcing duties for all Bluebird brands.
These include TALENTLESS, Bananas Monkey, Dear Media Podcasts, Maverick
Clothing, and other misc. brands.
PRODUCTION:
o Calculate buys for each capsule release. This is based on blank availability,
previous performance of similar products, and lead times.
o Manage and update WIP with all vendors to ensure timely delivery. Work with vendors for the best solutions should problems arise which would
affect delivery.
o Maintain the blank inventory. This includes forecasting and placing buys for
each quarter. I work with design and marketing to come up with the best
capsule release dates and blank bodies to use to help maximize sales.
o Work with the owner to calculate the product MSRP. This includes
researching comparable products, analyzing previous sales data, and examining the profit margin based on cost.
o Create and manage the lineplan for each of the brands.
o Maintain the trim inventory and source new trims when needed.
o I manage one direct report who is our product developer, ensuring
everything is going through the proper channels. This includes approvals of all new blank bodies samples, tie dye/wash samples, and print samples.
o Source and vet new vendors to fulfill the company's needs.
o Run weekly reports analyzing sales and notify the marketing team of any
excess inventory so that they can promote those goods through social
media/emails/sms. I also use the sales #s to frequently adjust the size
break % of my blank and finished goods buys as needed.
o Keep in constant communication with the distribution center and customer
service making sure to keep them notified of any replenishments coming in.
o   I also work close with our ecom department ensuring all product
information (including SKU#, sizes available, quantities, and the size guide)
are all correct during a capsule launch.
o   Created several SOP's for the company to help processes run more smoothly.
(e.g., Onboarding a potential new partner, Marketing requests   )

Director of Production and Sourcing

In charge of all printable production duties of the core inline styles for O'Neill, Hang
10, and Voyager. These duties consist of o Placing purchase orders with our vendors.
o Managing and updating WIP on a weekly basis
o Managing all blank inventory with the screen printers
o Ensure that all PP samples are approved by the tech and design team.
o Calculate Trim and Blank projections for each season.
o Sending tech packs and art to the screen printers.
?   For SMU's of these brands, handled all of the production duties listed above, and also handled all sourcing/development duties which include:
o Negotiate print pricing with screen printers and blank prices with T-shirt
vendors
o Setting up styles in PLM and Full Circle.
o Sourcing new blanks and screen printers when needed.
o Worked with the Retail division to come up with new printable blank bodies and techniques to carry in the O'Neill retail stores.
o Other SMU customers I worked with include Tilly's, Dick's Sporting Goods,
Macys, and Costco.
o Calculated the GP% for each SMU for the sales team to track margin goals.

Production/Sourcing Manager

?   Worked with our dealer network taking orders and receiving payment.
?   Developed pricing for all of products, calculating margins, and profits. (dealer pricing/msrp/ and map)
?   A&R for the company, working with the artists playing Q drums.
?   Customer service
o Answer all inquiries about the company
o Take orders and provide updates to existing customers
o Fulfill orders placed on our online store for misc. Merchandise
(shirts/hoodies/ect   )

General Manager

Handled/handling production duties for the following divisions:
o Quiksilver and Roxy Wetsuits
o Quiksilver and Roxy Snow
o Quiksilver Mountain
o Quiksilver and Roxy Jackets
o Quiksilver and Roxy non-denim bottoms (pants and walkshorts)
o Emerging brands (Moskova/V.S.T.R./Summer Teeth)
o Roxy and Quiksilver Wetsuits
o All apparel SMS for DC Shoes and Roxy
?   Duties include:
o Placing purchase orders
o Approving TOPs
o Ensuring SGS testing with passing results
o WIP tracking for SMS and production purchase orders
o Working with logistics to ensure on time delivery
o Working with the merchandising team to ensure correct costing for each
material.

Production Manager

Oversaw production duties for the following divisions/categories
o Von Zipper- All apparel and accessories (hats, belts, etc   .)
o Plan B Skateboards- All apparel and hard goods (skate decks, wheels, grip
tape, etc   )
o Element Skateboards- All men's and boy's cut and sew. All boy's printable
goods (t-shirts and screened fleece). All accessories (hats, wallets, belts,
socks, etc   )

?   Duties included
o Tracking of all preproduction and TOP samples
o Review and sign off on all invoices/chargebacks concerning my categories
o   Enter and analyze final actualized costing, comparing final cost to the estimated cost in the GP worksheet
o   Place purchase orders with the vendors and ensure that all WIP reports are
accurate and up to date

? Product developer for men's accessories (headwear, belts, wallets, etc   )
? Worked closely with vendors to ensure the product is of high quality and in- house
at the correct time.
? Negotiated prices, lead time, and minimum order quantities with vendors
? Created, maintained, and tracked Sample and Production PO's.
? Using Quest, maintained fabrics, styles, and design comments.
? Worked with Production Manager, compiling and coding invoices.
