Summary

My goal is to lead a team and brand in a new and profitable direction I have always been inspired by creating, drawing and improving the things I see. In high school and college I turned this into a business by creating logos, t-shirts and art for others. I taught myself how to screen print and use the Adobe Suite. I balanced this while at college (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) by earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Art. From here I began my professional career as a Mens Apparel Designer. My passion for learning allowed me to branch out and create and develop a range of items including sweaters, labels/hangtags, visual presentations, CAD work, Outerwear, Accessories, Knits, Woven's and the necessary marketing tools to promote such work. This led me to a Head Designer position leading a known Southern California brand. I continued my growth by adding to my skill set by designing Women's Apparel, Leather Goods, Catalog Design and Storefront/Trade show Booths. I transitioned from this role to become the Creative Director and Brand Manager for a domestic Headwear Manufacture that had been in business for 35+ years. This allowed me to learn a multitude of Social Media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and how they can help a brand and company grow. I also learned the manufacturing process for headwear and the components for building websites as well. I am skilled in creating templates and order forms that help streamline the business process along with creating logos, letterhead and business cards to help complete a companies image. Now I look to use my skills and learnings to help build something with purpose.
