Over the past years, having worked in Customer Service for major resorts in CA., I then went into the surf industry. As a quick study and self-starter, I learned what I needed of the latest digital techniques to be one of the Travel Editors and Managers for SURFER Magazine. From there I went into travel sales as a Travel Agent for a major surf travel company (wavehunters.com). Finally I decided to change industries and have worked as a merchandiser then on-premise sales rep for Stone Brewing and Distributing. All four employment categories have taught me everything from marketing, advertising, Web design/creation to (most importantly) sales

POS merchandiser, education and sales to over 150 accounts in the San Diego area. Top sales rep on San Diego On-premise team in 2018 with 11% increase in sales in my region.

On-premise Sales Representative 

- Responsible for sales to everyday surfers and high profile, national surf industry athletes/teams including Oakley, Billabong, Quiksilver, Volcom, RVCA, Surfline, Hurley, SURFER Mag, SURFING Mag, Transworld Mag, etc. (wavehunters.com)
- Exceeded above 90% of the sales goals for the past 8 years.
- Increased book of business from $400,000 to $1.1 Million.
- Ranked #1 on the sales team.
- Earned a series of promotions through four different sales positions (Account Manager, -Senior Account Manager, Account Executive and Sales Manager).
- Managed a sales team with over 15 different geographic regions.
- Averaged over 200 new accounts per year, through cold calling, prospecting and advertising.
- Developed, proposed and implemented strategic advertising programs, increasing visibility and sales.
- Designated to represent the company at multiple trade shows and events each year.
- Surf guide for a 4-star resort in El Salvador and on multiple boats in the Mentawais Islands, Indonesia.

Sales Manager

- Developed 20 new digital SURFER Travel Reports from existing hard copies (8-12 pages in length).
- Marketed the new product through SURFER Magazine events in order to gain exposure for the new product (Designed and produced marketing material for trade shows including banners, handouts and giveaways.)
- Sold ad space to over 8 top surf industry companies including Bodyglove, FCS, OAM, Waterways, etc.
- Sold new and existing product to domestic and international markets
- Managed website retail sales and marketing campaigns
- Developed processes to organize customer account information and streamline shipments.

Travel Editor/Manager

- Customer service for high level clientele.
- Face to face communication and problem solving with guests and employees.
- Helped open the Bacara Resort and learned techniques to help Brand a new level of resort in the region.
