Chief Product Officer

GM category leadership role in product accountable for all global merchandising, design, development, sourcing and vendor management. Served as the ‘face’ of product, brand and company, business and management leader, researcher and growth strategist. Managed Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Fit & Spec, Production, Global Sales and Brand Marketing for Active and Freeryde Divisions.

DIrector of Merchandising

GM category leadership role responsible for the strategic business planning through implementation of all Softgoods global product categories, including launches and entry-to-market business initiatives in packs, climbing harnesses, gloves, gaiters, tents, bivies and accessories, helmets, big wall portaledges, flys, haul bags, climbing accessories, climbing ropes, lifestyle/clothing and logo/promo products.  

Business Unit Director - Softgoods

GM role responsible for all aspects of brand management and marketing division (CRM implementation/adherence, Production, Copyright, Art, Creative, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Events and Outreach). Developed and Implemented Sales Training and Client Development programs. Responsible for development and timely execution of strategic marketing plan and budget for retail and launch of corporate eComm direct-to-consumer website. Financial responsibilities included entire marketing and PR budgets, including strategic implementation and management of all television, radio, print, direct mail, outdoor/billboard, website media buys. Served as leader and decision maker for all creative, messaging and production. 

Director Marketing

Various strategic visionary leadership and front-line roles in the building of the high performance clothing, equipment and footwear brand over a decade. Highlights include multi-store retail management and launching/opening of flagship stores in various California USA cities; defining, developing and implementing a new ‘special sales’ division that included guide/professional/influencer, corporate, mountain/resort and government sales; management/liaison responsibilities between athlete and product RnD teams in the launching of new product categories (lifestyle, footwear); led product placement initiative with entertainment industry.
