Retail Planning Manager with 13+ years of experience in Sales Forecasting and Inventory Management. Highly competent and motivated leader with a successful track record of improving sales and inventory performance to ensure  profit turnarounds.

*	Directly responsible for creating and establishing annual Sales Volume, Inventory, and Margin goals for Retail Division (including all E-Com, Outlet, & Retail departments)

Planning Manager

*	Maintain skilled understanding and involvement in Merchandise Planning and Buying, through teaching Retail Buying and Merchandising courses to college students- which include a focus on creating and maintaining the OTB, Merchandise Plans, P&L statements, dictating MDs at POS and Perm level, determining MUs & desired GMROI, and understanding inventory levels and sales potential based on turns, ST%, and WOS
*	Teach courses focusing on the fashion apparel industry including such topics as: Retail Math, Microsoft Excel with Focus on Retail Math, Fashion Retailing & Merchandising, Retail History, Fashion Marketing & Promotion
*	Instruct and assist in the growth and success of students through thorough preparation of course materials & effective teaching methods
*	Work cooperatively with students to ensure a rich learning environment by providing professional Fashion Industry experience and insight 
*	Ensure all Student Learning Outcomes are met through providing assessments and assignments relating to the desired objectives of the course

Adjunct Professor

*	Responsible for Planning and Managing the Footwear department for 213 store locations nationwide and E-Commerce
*	Forecast daily, weekly, and monthly sales based on historical trends to identify sales opportunities and risk
*	Create and maintain Weekly Open to Buy forecasts to monitor targeted inventory levels and report to buying team
*	Create and maintain sales plans based on monthly sales goals, historical performance and business initiatives while sustaining healthy inventory turns
*	Attend and lead monthly merchandise planning meetings with GMM, DMM's, Buyers, and supervisors to review merchandise plans and proposed changes
*	Partner with allocation to develop inventory strategies for New Stores and  Seasonal & Key Item styles
*	Create and maintain Ad Hoc reporting to develop a deeper understanding of the business to maximize sales

Merchandise Planner

*	Responsible for planning and buying all brands in the E-Commerce division including fashion brands such as: Vince, Rebecca Taylor, Adam Lippes, David Meister, Zobha, Scotch & Soda, Lamb and Flag, and BLK DNM
*	Create, Maintain, and Own all E-Commerce sales apparel merchandise planning and forecasting on Total, Department, Category, Seasonal, Style, and Color levels- looking at history, current trending, and promotional activity
*	Continually integrate the most current sales forecast with the Open to Buy to determine alignment of the receipt buy plan and merchandise inventory levels
*	Purchase seasonal apparel line buys based on receipt strategy, history, and current trending
*	Analyze markdowns and transfers and the impact of them, and incorporate strategy into the Open to Buy
*	Collaborate with Retail team to dictate markdowns and exit transfer plan of inventories
*	Review and evaluate sales data looking at inventory levels, turnover, WOS, ST%, AUR Sales and OH $, builds, AOV, UPTs, Gross Margin, Full Price and Markdown product- by Department, Category, Season, Style, Color, and Size
*	Allocate and replenish fashion products weekly to ensure planned inventory levels are maintained to maximize sales
*	Meet monthly with finance to communicate and adjust company’s current E-Commerce sales forecast
*	Partner with management and team to communicate e-commerce strategies to increase revenue 


Sr. Merchandise Planner/ Buyer

*	Responsible for buying, planning and managing the jewelry department for 140+ Brighton store locations, accounting for 40% of retail business 
*	Develop and monitor dollar and unit plans, projections, flow of receipts, promotional merchandising strategies and seasonal sell-off plans
*	Create and maintain open to buy forecasts 
*	Purchase Seasonal line buys based on sales history, current trends, and future projections
*	Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories
*	Develop by style allocation models based on store rankings
*	Meet bi monthly with design team to discuss current line performance, along with new product ideas and improvements
