Michelle Owens is an executive level operations, marketing, design and product development professional.  She is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Leather Cord USA and has also acted as the Director of Design and Marketing for the company.  She has advanced to this senior level from an entry level customer service position, a testament to her innovative spirit and capacity for growth.  For the last ten years, Michelle has contributed significantly to the company’s 80% growth, including a 300% increase in new customers.  She also possesses a strong knowledge of the athletic footwear and Apparel industry, which she sees as the perfect marriage of her personal interest in sports and educational background in Fashion Merchandising. Serving as Chief Operations Officer with Leather Cord USA.  Manage all day to day operations of the company. Oversee all sales, marketing and warehouse efforts adjusting staff as needed. Coordinate preparation of reports, trends and objectives. Communicate with vendors both domestic and international. Responsible for inventory control and procurement. Manage all new product development from sourcing to launch.  Hire and train new employees, having hired 14 new staff members and mentored 6 new members of management. Involved in all customer acquisition and retention.
