SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGN MANAGER

Over 17 years in  graphic design and product development; apparel, accessories, home, beauty and consumer electronics.  Portfolio available upon request.

-Responsible for licensed product development for mass, mid-tier, department stores, specialty retailers, e-commerce, and high end Co-Labs; categories include accessories, apparel, beauty, consumer electronics and home. 
-Provide on-boarding, training, direction, feedback and product approvals to 20+ licensees to ensure product is trend right, brand appropriate, has character integrity and in-depth storytelling.
-Manage product development from concept to production.
-Building decks and pitches to present to senior leadership and retailers. 
-Collaborate with internal (licensing, franchise, business affairs, legal, corporate brand management, D&I, public relations, cultural consultants) and external partners (Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Disney Channel, The Muppets Studios, Archives).
-Research trend and development for new innovative products, art application, white space.
-Develop and create seasonal portfolios and style guides, product trend boards and mood boards.
-Manage designers and freelancers on creative projects to meet development timelines and budget.
-Research and provide direction for packaging and branding for special program and Co-Labs.
-Sketch, CAD and prepare tech packs for product development.

-Concept, sketch, design, and develop seasonal accessories for Hello Kitty, Disney and Warner Bros.
-Create digital renders for jewelry and create graphics and all over patterns for handbags.
-Sketch and prepare technical specifications for brand appropriate and trend right product.

SENIOR DESIGNER

-Design and develop apparel for private label and for licensed collaborations with Disney and WB.
-Create graphics and all over patterns for apparel.
-Sketch, CAD and prepare tech packs for seasonal deliveries for retailers such as Walmart and Target.
-Research and develop seasonal consumer and market trends for themes, colors, designs, raw materials and styling. 

SKILLS

Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign), Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Trend Direction, OPA (Online Product Approval), Technical Specifications, Moodboards/Concepting. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), iWork (Keynote, Pages), Vertical and Licensed Business Models.
