Senior Accounting Technician

All duties listed below, with addition to supervisory duties of the Revenue team.

AR & Collections- accounts receivable research and reconciliation for payments such as utility
payments, licensing, permit fees and fines, retiree insurance, and rent for concessionaires; assist
customers with payment plans; prepare past due accounts and coordinate with collection agency
on accounts designated for collections; work with various insurance companies to collect on
property damage claims; create billing and adjustment forms; process return mail; filing &
processing of civil citations; update citation log, cash receipts write up and provide internal and external customer service by phone and in person.

Cash Vault- manage various cash vault processes including coin and currency verification; train
vault staff, previous day balancing and reconciliation; process and distribute petty cash; prepare
deposit of cash and currency for pick up by the armored car.

Supervisor back up and accounting technician "lead" Balance transactions at the end of day
for multiple business systems (Paypoint, iNovah, Cityview and CIS); process all payments made to the city including municipal services, accounts receivable, business license, fire permits,
building permits and plan fees; import electronic payment files received from the bank and third
party vendor; print weekly vendor checks; print bi-weekly payroll checks; transmit check file to the bank; work with various departments on balancing issues; troubleshoot system problems

Accounting Technician II

Daily deposit, accounts receivable collection, balance previous
days transactions, create billing forms, process return mail, filing, account research and reconciliations, process online payments, update citation log, process coin and cash in vault, write
up cash receipts, prepare accounts to be sent to collections

Department Services Aide 1

Responsibilities included: booking travel, expense reports, shipping promos,
answering multi-line phones, maintaining customer files, stocking office supplies, outgoing and incoming mail, writing up Fed-Ex labels, invoicing, data entry, issue RA's, customer service,
accounts receivable, sales assistant, warehouse help when needed.

set up, run credit cards, receive petty cash, daily deposit, wire transfers, collection calls, post cash to customers account, credit memos, month-end write offs, reconcile month end, work with sales
reps and customer service to make sure orders go out on a timely basis, managed one A/R clerk.

Credit Manager

Allocate and print pick tickets, Bi-weekly available to sells, load style
master, enter work in progress, receive product, process contractor invoices for accounts payable.

November 2004 - January 2005: Assumed credit manager duties including daily deposit,
posting cash to customer accounts, credit memos, non merchandise invoices, running credit cards,
international wire transfers, approve new customer credit application and new customer set up,
approving orders, working with C.I.T., collection calls, closing the month.


Started as Receptionist in 2003: Duties included: answering multi-line phones, maintaining
customer files, stocking office supplies, outgoing and incoming mail, writing up Fed-Ex labels,
