Co-Owner & Business Manager

Derek is an in-house movie producer and partner at Tica Productions. Formerly, Derek worked in the action sports industry in event production, marketing, brand management, apparel design, apparel production, and creative asset production with IMG on the National Surf League (NSL) and the US Open of Surfing as well as with The Arbor  Collective as their Men's Apparel Product & Marketing Manager. Derek is a former Goaltender in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) and American Hockey League (AHL). His work in movie production is concentrated on film finance and business management. Derek is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) of Los Angeles, where he studied film and business.
