Director of Operations, Sourcing and Product Management

• Work with Chinese textile mills to develop and produce the right product mix for the US upholstery market
• Act as the liaison between our US team and the Design/Development teams in China to make sure they understand where we
need to be in terms of price, quality, testing, and delivery
• Work side by side and communicate regularly with the mill (owner, mid-level managers, and production people) to ensure clear
communication is taking place between all parties involved
• Helped to expand our product line by taking top selling items in the marketplace and finding other suppliers in China that could
help us develop them (knits, prints, PU fabrics); merchandise these items together with our in-house wovens line
• Communicate customer requests such as quality issues, testing requirements, pricing, lead time, and design changes to the mill in a way that is clear for them to understand (speaking Chinese helps with this)
• Make sure we are incorporating attributes of top selling SKU's such as price point, design, color, and fabric construction into
future development
• Grew annual revenue by over 35% vs. PY (from 12 MILL to over 16 MILL) during my first year, and another 30% in my second year with the company
• Manage customer relationships and work with ownership and US Sales Reps to grow business with furniture manufacturers,
furniture retailers, and fabric retailers and distributors

- Based in Shanghai, China
• Oversaw Albany's Asia operations where we purchased furniture components (fabric, sofa legs, metal frames, motors, fiber, etc.) to be exported to Albany HQ in the US.  Our spend on furniture components and cut & sew was over $10 MILL a year
• Ensured all PO's were being shipped on time and produced according to the customer's specifications and quality
requirements (over 600 containers per year)
• Set China pricing to ensure we were giving our customers favorable pricing while ensuring our China operation was profitable
• Regularly followed up with vendors and our local staff to ensure timely shipment of orders while never compromising on price
or quality
• Managed the accounting and financial aspects of the China operation including creating and balancing the budget, managing
cash flow, and always looking for ways to maximize ROI
• Made sure my team was communicating clearly and efficiently with our USA office and that all expectations were being met
with respect to pricing, quality, and timelines
• Directed and managed all aspects of the China office: Human Resources, Financial, Accounting, Sales, Sourcing, Supply
Chain, Quality Control, and Service
• Cultivated strong relationships with existing suppliers while always searching for new / better vendors to ensure we were
getting the best quality, service, and price for all products and parts coming out of China
• Worked with suppliers to help them prepare for factory audits by US retailers such as Costco, Walmart, etc.; went through each
requirement in detail to ensure they would be adequately prepared
• Made sure all suppliers were clear on US fabric testing standards and that all patterns were tested in a lab that met our
requirements
• Implemented SOP's to assist our China team in checking all dye lots of new production to ensure suppliers were adhering to our strict requirements on color consistency

General Manager, Asia Operations

• Responsible for multiple categories accounting for over $60 Million in wholesale revenue
• Took over 300 products to market during my 2 years in the role
• Oversaw the entire product life cycle from creating the product mix, developing new products, bringing the new program into
stores, and working hand in hand with Sales and the customer to maximize growth and profitability to both sides
• Ensured we were bringing the right products to market that complement existing lines and capitalize on market trends

Product Category Manager

• Increased sales by over 50% each year by supporting existing customers and helping new accounts understand the benefit of working with us on all of their product needs
• Effectively communicated with overseas suppliers on behalf of my clients to maintain strong relationships and made sure they
had a clear understanding of my clients' specific needs and timelines

• Worked closely with DC's domestic and international sales force to develop the right products for each region
• Ensured customers were ordering the right product, POP, and fixtures based on POS data and market trends
• Reduced global operation costs for apparel sample orders by nearly 40%

Sales Operations Manager, Southeast Asia

• Grew Ogio's international sales revenue by over 25% (4 Million to 5 Million) through new and existing distribution
• Ensured my customers met the sales targets in their contracts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis by growing business in existing accounts as well as opening the right new accounts; reported to the CFO monthly

Was responsible for sales and marketing for all ten of Oakley's distributors in Asia; grew top line sales in my territory by 75% in
2.5 years (12 Million to 21 Million)
• Opened Oakley China; led the entire process of reviewing distributor proposals, interviewing potential candidates, and ultimately selecting and on-boarding the new distributor
• Always exceeded quarterly and yearly sales targets during my 2.5 years in the position
• Traveled frequently to all of my customers to cultivate strong relationships and better understand the specific opportunities and challenges in each market
