Assistant Designer

Responsible for the execution of all samples for the core line as well as product development samples. Works closely with customers to develop new styles. Monitors sample room to ensure steady workflow. Assists with fittings to ensure accurate fits. Sources fabrics and trims. Bridges the gap between design and production. Maintains constant communication with design, production, and all customers to ensure exceptional results. Assists head designer by contributing sketches and ideas for the junior line.

Coordinated private label import accounts. Monitored and scheduled delivery for import shipments from foreign factories to local factory. Constantly communicated with foreign factories to ensure quality products were produced. Used N41 and PLM daily to track styles and execute new ones. Responsible for executing all samples from development to production. Worked with private label accounts to help develop and produce new styles. Worked with styles from concept through production. Worked domestically to produce samples in a timely fashion for customers. Familiar with novelty washes and dye houses.

Product Development/ Account Coordinator

Extensive trend research.  In charge of product development for private label lines.  Responsible for executing all samples from first sample through TOP. Designed and developed in house junior line. Worked with buyers to ensure all garment specs were within tolerance and followed up to make sure all product was delivered as expected. Worked closely with pattern maker and sample sewer to ensure accurate fits of garments. Followed up with production department to ensure timely delivery. Maintained close relationships with vendors and contractors.

Designer/ Pre- Production Coordinator

Trend Research. Worked with magazine tears to design concept boards. Sourced fabrics & trims. Assisted with production follow up. Managed accounts. Responsible for coordinating samples. Specked garments. Used Photoshop and Illustrator for design. Chose styles, colors, trims, and fabrics for clients. Worked closely with dye houses and screen printers.

Design Assistant/ Account Coordinator

Worked with placing graphics on clothes. Used old graphics to create new ones. Chose fabrics, colors and treatments for garments. Worked with vendors to select trims and embellishments.  Prepared designs and samples for production. Utilized Photoshop and Illustrator create new designs and styles for every season.
