Contract Designer for signs, metal fabrication, graphic and industrial

Born in Texas in 1977, Jason Ice discovered his passion for the arts at an early age, frequently experimenting with various mediums and techniques.
After pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Jason moved into the field of fashion accessory design and later moved into design for metal fabrication. He quickly developed a
specialization in the design of neon signs and sculptural features.

Jason has gained extensive experience in metal fabrication, particularly in the design and creation of neon signs. They have developed a unique style that blends traditional
and modern techniques, resulting in stunning, eye-catching pieces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In addition to his work with neon signs and sculptural features, Jason has also applied his creativity to the field of fashion, designing a range of wristwatches that reflect
his unique artistic style. The designs are bold, daring, and inspired by his love for the street style and street art.

Drawing inspiration from his background in illustration and fine art, Jason creates pieces that are not only visually striking but also rich in meaning and symbolism.
He often draws from his personal experiences and beliefs to create works that resonate deeply with his audience.

Throughout his career, Jason has garnered widespread recognition for his innovative and unique approach to art and design.
His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and galleries, earning critical acclaim and a loyal following of admirers.

Today, Jason continues to push the boundaries of art and design, using his talent and expertise to create pieces that challenge conventions and inspire others to
think outside the box.

•  Create conceptual designs for clients that come looking for custom design and build projects.
•  Designing with key price points, production times, materials, and production costs all in mind.
•  Research market trends and staying ahead of the competition.
•  Meet with new clients and determine what the best type of product will fit their needs.
•  Attend surveys to ensure that the product that is to be designed will fit in the space, mounting methods and to see where power will be run.
•  Branding and fabrication methods are taken in to consideration in the sketching phase of a new project.
•  Presentation book with inspirational tares, colors, materials lighting, and fabrication methods are presented to the client.
•  Execute the chosen designs to be tightened up in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for a crystal clear representation of the design for bidding and to present to the customer.
•  Create a work order which has the rendering of the product, all dimensions, multiple views, material call outs, paint codes, fabrication instructions, installation notes, route and plot files and a compiled list of the required materials and the quantities. 
•  Daily communication with clients, shop foreman, vinyl department, paint department, neon department, and project managers to follow up on the product and the stages it goes in from concept to installation.
•  Research new materials that can be used in various applications that help keep styling and finish evolving.

Also to remind the market that is glued to their cell phones and computers with digital time that a nice analog watch with stellar design is a great fashion accessory to show some personality with.

Create hits for Diesel Timeframes that are still on the store shelves 4-5 years later when Fossil generally cancels a decent design after couple of months.
