Graphic Designer

Manufacturer of recycled glass mosaic tile for over 25 years and used in Hearst Castle amongst other well-known landmarks. 

•	Collaborated with Interior Designers, Photographers and Marketing Managers to create the most functional print and web marketing that best showcased the color, texture and unique qualities of Oceanside Glasstile’s range of tile products.
•	Created and managed briefs and reviewed process through to completion.
•	Managed Web Designer, outsourced Photographer, Social Media Coordinator and Merchandising Coordinator.
•	Scheduled production/brainstorming meetings and managed project priorities, reviewed proofs and press checks.
•	Obtained quotes and managed relationships with printers, image and media suppliers, freelancers and vendors as well as reviewed and processed invoices.
•	Maintained licensing records on purchased digital assets.
•	Oversaw and assisted in styling product photography and retouching projects.


Graphic and Web Designer

I was originally employed as the lead user interface designer for a large CRM project, as the company grew my skills were used in other arenas. I designed 5 different websites along with the creative director and software engineer. I loved the ability to wear different hats, to be involved in super creative marketing collateral, but to also work on very technical visuals such as wizards and demo pages. There was a need for a print designer and I was happy to oblige; creating graphics for trade shows, brochures, direct mail, software packaging, banners and more.

What a wonderful experience I had with Daphne's Greek Cafe, not only was it fun and exciting but challenging and rewarding. I had the honor of working for a talented marketing genius, Julie Lanthier Bandy and under a master mind entrepreneur George Katakalidis. I loved the team work, all banding together to achieve growth. When I worked for Daphne's we had over 8 locations as well as Express restaurants and a fine dining location called EXY in the gaslamp quarter of San Diego.

It was with Daphne's I found my love of project management and interior design. The wide spread job responsibilities from menu psychology, to event planning, direct mail, web development and environmental graphics kept me on my toes and looking forward to another day in the office.
