Over the past 3.5 years, I have lead Glyder Apparel from ZERO to where we stands today, a reputable company known for quality and stylish products that won't break the bank. This accomplishment has been achieved with almost zero marketing budget and sales have come solely from man power, driven through Social Media. I started with Glyder on December 1st, 2011, at first we used Facebook to get in touch with our community and gain sales, but Instagram came along and we dove right in. In October of 2013 Glyder had 250 followers in Instagram. Through very intricate processes, that were invented by myself and Glyder’s Creative Director, we hit 50,000 followers by February of 2015 and continue to grow at a steady pace. 80 percent of our online sales come from Instagram, alone. We run open audience sales, closed audience sales, contests, giveaways and love to support the Instagram Yogi’s. I currently oversee and have vastly contributed to Corporate sales, Wholesale sales, Online sales, Customer service, manage 2 outside Sales Reps, do planning and buying for all new collections, Warehouse Management (including set up of the warehouse, assigning bin locations and making sure all replenishment is marked and easy to find), assist the CFO on a daily basis, travel to trade shows and have gained the largest accounts Glyder has seen in the past 3.5 years. As mentioned previously, most sales have been derived purely from Social Media, however, I became project manager for our website overhaul that started in February of 2015. With this project I have gained knowledge in SEO, SEM, AdRoll, Google Analytics and advised on Customer Experience while the consulting team made our site responsive for mobile devices. I am self taught in Netsuite, which houses our CRM, WMS, Accounting and Website, all in one. Since I am Glyder's first office employee, I learned everything via inherent knowledge of similar systems, online tutorials and of course, trial and error. I have taught all others that have joined our team how to use all of its functions. We now have 7 team members that use Netsuite on a daily basis.
