Art Director/Manager of Disney Theme Parks

Managing a team of artists to develop apparel & softlines for Disney Theme Parks (Disneyland/Walt Disney World//Hong Kong Disneyland/Disneyland Paris). Work hand in hand with Design Manager and design team to collaborate concepts from beginning to end and ensure creating a complete statement between art and design while staying true to the IP. Collaborating with multiple teams within The Walt Disney Company located in Orlando, FL and Glendale, CA to ensure brand identity and storytelling. Creating original art concepts for Marvel, Lucas Films, Disney Characters and Disney Theme Park Brand. Staying on trend and conveying that knowledge to the Disney Team.

Responsible for creating original non-licensed artwork from concept to production under the direction of the Design Manager. Worked closely with Sales Team, Design Team,  Production Artists and Separators to ensure high quality art execution. Able to independently research trends and compile trend boards to present to Sales/Design. Worked on screenprints as well as all over prints. Knowledgeable in various print techniques and knowing the technical side of executing artwork on various fabrics. 

Senior Graphic Artist

Manage a team of 7 artists to execute original art concepts. Keeping on the forefront of current trends and translate trends to work for target customer. Art directing artists by providing trends and layouts, helping artists flesh out original artwork concepts for apparel (fashion and basics) and teaching artists about different art printing techniques. Partnering with Licensing Dept to ensure art concepts are in-line with various Licenses (i.e: Disney, WB, Cartoon Network, Hasbro, Sanrio etc). Working closely with Sales and Design teams to ensure quality concepts for Market as well as ensuring a harmonious marriage between apparel print techniques and various fabrics. Teaming up with Production Dept (import/domestic) to ensure the best art execution while keeping the integrity of the art as high as possible. Brainstorm big ideas with Sales & Design to help keep Girls Art Dept competitive.

Manager of Girls (4-16) Artist Team

In-house senior graphic artist for the Girls Dept. Responsible for the creation of original art for tops (basic tees & fashion bodies) as well as designing collections. Able to create original on-trend generic art as well as licensed art such as Disney, Hasbro, Sanrio, Warner Bros etc. Knowledgeable about the screen print process/embellishments as well as various fabrication. Able to independently conduct trend research and create art with little to no graphic revisions. Responsible for knowing how to design for the specific retailers' customer. Responsible for staying updated with current trends; both fashion as well as graphic for the Girls age range.

In-house designer for the Juniors/Girls Dept at Hybrid. Responsible for the creation of original art for tops (tees & fashion bodies) as well as designing for various licenses such as Barbie, Reebok, Bob Marley, Disney, Peanuts, Despicable Me, etc. Responsible for staying updated with current trends; both fashion as well as graphic.
