I have been designing and developing technical outerwear for 16 years for the outdoor and ski industry.  I specialize in full package design, sourcing, fit and factory management.  Always interested in new opportunities.

Co-design Opedix revolutionary patented knee support tights and hip stabilization shorts with Biomechanics PHD from University of Denver.  Source and develop all materials/trims and manufacturing as well as proto reviews and fit.  Manage all factory and vendor relationships.

Designed 9 technical outerwear styles including M's and W's insulated, fleece and softshell for the Fall 2014 line.

Freelance Designer

Design technical outerwear for both men and women for Flylow's Fall 2012, 2013, 2014 collections.  Create color palette and merchandise assortment for entire line.  Manage factory relations in Asia. Consult on all aspects of production and development.

Freelance Designer/Developer

Lead designer on Marmot women's fashion inspired Allure Ski Collection.  Research and present trends, color and trims as well as designing this groundbreaking collection for Marmot's Fall 14 line.

Designed 10 new Men's Outerwear styles for Mountain Hardware's Fall 2015 Snowsports category.

Designed 8 high endurance styles for OR's women's Spring 12 collection.  Styles included shorts, tanks, shirts, pants and lightweight jackets.

Consulted on both men's and women's spring 2012 line with regards to line plan, fabrication and design.  Designed 17 new men's jackets, hoodies, woven shirts, polos, pants and shorts.  Created new woven yarn dyes, stripe patterns and space dyes. Provided technical sketches and BOM's for all approved styles.

Designed 13 mountain inspired shirts, shorts, pants and dresses for Spring 2012 line.  Provided technical sketches and bill of materials for all approved styles.

Designed and developed 23 top surf, swim and lifestyle styles for Spring 2011 line which have carried for multiple seasons.  Conceptualized and designed an 18 pc yoga inspired line of which attributed to the 150% growth from previous spring.  Designed 12 insulated jackets, casual jackets, pants and skirts for Fall 2011. Consulted on line plan, fabrications, fit and color for all seasons.

Assisted in the creation of concept and design direction for the initial launch of the Field & Steam line.  Designed 10 new outerwear jackets including rain wear, insulated, fleece, casual jackets and blazers.  Created color palette and merchandised entire line.  Provided formats for product department with regards to timelines, line plans and technical sketches.

Assumed executive role to implement the successful launch of the brand in Fall 2008.  Created the brand image and product vision for Powderhorn.  Developed master timeline, line plan and job descriptions for entire product department.  Hired and led a team of outerwear and graphic designers to design all 47 new men's and women's styles.  Created color story for the entire line including all trims and print materials.  Sourced and set up all relationships with factories, fabric and trim vendors in various countries worldwide.  Traveled to all factories to mediate fit, deliveries and quality control.

Senior Designer and Developer

Played in integral role in the design and development of Cloudveil's revolutionary snowsports, lifestyle and fly fishing collections.  Researched and presented trends in both technical outerwear, performance and sportswear categories.  Wrote design briefs and managed contract apparel and graphic designers for all categories.  Designed over 20 successful commercial outerwear, mid-layer and lifestyle garments.  Managed and designed Cloudveil's workbook that was used for 5 seasons.  Created the color palette and merchandising story for 10 seasons.  Prepared and presented the product line and merchandising story at all sales meetings and dealer round tables.  Designed multiple yarn and space dyes as well as graphics for prints, embroideries and screens.  Key contributor to the Cloudveil direction with regards to trend, color and design
