Northwest Sales Manager (Inside)

Do what you sell or don't sell nothin' at all. 

At Johnson Outdoors I'm responsible for accelerating sales growth for our Watercraft and Camping brands across the Pacific Northwest, furthering our mission of getting more people outside to engage with the amazing awe of the great outdoors again and again. These brands include Jetboil, Old Town Canoe, Ocean Kayak, Eureka!, and Carlisle.

From clear copy to adventure journalism, and everything in between: I've had my work published in outdoor titles such as Powder Magazine, Field and Stream, and Big Life. I have also generated outdoor and tourism copy for independent marketing agencies.

My duties at ON3P include fostering growth of D2C sales and raising brand awareness, as well as supporting ON3P dealers by way of education and industry previews in the Intermountain and Northwest US territories. I also had several opportunities to weigh in on product development here, which was one my favorite parts of the job.

At Roxa, I expanded distribution and awareness of this ski boot brand in retail locations throughout the Pacific Northwest by building relationships with reputable business owners, providing consistent technical support, and by being present at industry events.

I spent four years as the editor in chief at Bomb Snow Magazine. As a partner, I was also responsible for sales, marketing, and business planning. I am still a partner here, but am no longer active in content creation. 

About the publication: Bomb Snow Magazine is a creator-owned mountain culture publication. Our distribution channels consist of a print magazine, a highly interactive website, and an online-based video content channel: Bomb Snow TV. 

Fueled by love of free-speech, creative impulse, and an alternative to the mass distraction called media, Bomb Snow is dedicated to providing readers with legitimate content through crafty design, quality photography, and progressive ideas.
