Senior Technical Designer, Contract| Men’s Casual Bottoms & Denim / Men’s and Juniors Snow / Juniors Woven and Knit Tops, Casual Bottoms, Dresses and Loungewear
Directly manages development and delivery of complete and accurate technical specification packages for Men’s Casual and Denim Bottoms, Men’s and Juniors Snow Jackets and Pants, as well as Juniors Knit and Woven Products. Subject Matter Expert in Patternmaking, Construction, Grading and Fit, lending expert advice across all product categories. Mentors a team of Junior Technical Designers, sharing expertise in pattern and fit analysis. Mentors TD and Junior Design team toward creating more effective communications with vendors through diagrams, photos, and direct-to-pattern revision. Instrumental in achieving the goal of creating significant improvement in the fit of Men’s casual bottoms for Spring/Summer 2016 deliveries.
?	Creates and maintains tech packages including bill of materials, proto specs, detail pages, and garment construction.
?	Manages assigned product category, coordinating all factory communication between design, merchandising, and manufacturing throughout product development stages. Lends support to partner categories for maintaining fit consistencies, compliance of spec and construction against cost, and quality standards.
?	Analyzes vendor patterns, with direct-to-pattern revisions for improved fit, diagrammed in Adobe Illustrator when needed
?	Leads fit sessions on all models in all product categories, confirming product alignment with design and merchant vision.
