15+ years Action Sports  experience.-- Past owner/operator of  Greenhouse Boardshop,  Arcata, Ca.--  General Manager for 6 store  Action Sports  retailer, Tumon Bay, Guam.-- Production Manager,  Lamination Hawaii, Oahu. Current owner, The  Neighborhood, Arcata, Ca.,  Northwest Sales Rep Pyzel Surfboards and Nectar sunglasses(Pacific Northwest).

Founded, owned, and operated The Neighborhood (boardshop). Drafted business plan, secured financing and lease, established vendor accounts, designed store layout, built and executed a business growth plan. Duties included working the retail floor, Human Resources, training employees, ordering inventory, accounting, shipping/ receiving, marketing, promotions, designing and maintaining website, and attending trade shows.

Outside sales for Pyzel surfboards from Oahu.  Territory Pacific Northwest.  Reposibilities include sales, product knowledge seminars, product demos, trade show representation, and brand ambassador.

Pacific Northwest Sales Rep

General Manager for Dizzy Inc. retail operations, parent company of DNA, DNA Evolution, Splash Guam, The Zorie Hut, DV8 Board Shop, and Kicks Hi + Guam.  Daily duties included overseeing six (6) retail doors, Human Resources (averaging 75-90 employees), marketing, buying, warehouse logistics (shipping, receiving, and inventory control), and product allocation and delivery to the retail sales floor.  Long term duties included development of website and e-commerce, raising the level of product knowledge and customer service, development of company's identity through private label product lines (hard goods, soft goods, and accessories), and promotional campaigns.

General Manager

Founded, owned, and operated Greenhouse Boardshop. Drafted business plan, secured financing and lease, established vendor accounts, designed store layout, trademarked Greenhouse clothing, and built and executed a business growth plan. Duties included working the retail floor, Human Resources, training employees, ordering inventory, accounting, shipping/ receiving, marketing, promotions, designing and maintaining website, and attending trade shows.

Managed the largest surfboard factory in the United States.  Lamination Hawaii produced approximately 1,500 surfboards per month, held licenses for Hawaiian Island Creations, Island Classics, and Backyard Boards, and distributed Wet Dreams surf accessories.  Daily duties included organizing production schedule, managing 25-35 in house subcontractors and employees, ordering supplies for production, quality control, shipping and receiving, invoicing, product development, Director of wholesale sales, sales manager of the outside sales reps for the U.S. mainland, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Japan, and managed yearly promotional budget.
