After many successful years working as production manager for various companies, I've ventured on to my own business offering my experience and resources to anyone looking to start, expand, or better their own apparel company. I work primarily in domestic production here in Southern California. My ideal client is someone who is serious about creating their own clothing line, but not sure how to make it happen. Design Assistant and Production Manager

While working with a small team for a private brand development and design company I gained experience of coordinating domestic and international men's wear and footwear production. The company consists of multiple confidential brands with reputable customer's such as Barney's, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, PacSun, Revolve, etc. Due to size of company I had the opportunity to wear many different hats which provided an all-around hands-on education in all categories of production and design.
Daily use of Adobe Illustrator to create Tech Packs, CADs, Cut Tickets and Line plans for each brand by season
Creative brainstorming and trend research to present inspiration boards for each brand per season
Oversee each garment from CAD to finished product
Creating yields on excel to purchase fabric yardage and trims
All communication with vendors and clients.
Fabric testing - print, dye
Artwork sizing and approval confirmation 
Receiving goods while keeping office and warehouse organized

Production Manager

Working in a team environment with designers, fit technicians and production managers while participating in model fittings and assist by taking pictures, measurements, and problem solve fit issues. I also completed tasks such as "trim and finish portfolio" for designers, compliance filing, and processing samples using Full Circle. Perform product testing such as XRF Scan, wash tests, colorfastness to light, etc. when needed.

Production Assistant

Hired as Assistant Manager but found myself taking on the responsibility of Acting Store Manager about two months into the job while the Store Manager was on Leave of Absence. I was forced to adapt quickly to not only the procedures and policies of the company but to develop my staff and maintain store goals and objectives. My store was a district and regional leader teetering from first to second month-to-month which made it competitive and exciting. We had a 25% increase of sales when I left the company making us #1 in our district, #3 in our region, and #7 out of 757 stores nationwide. My store was rewarded the Visual Award for the last quarter of 2010 and was the leader in Maurices Credit Card Applications.

Manager

Internship included assisting in design and construction of sixteen piece collection, planning and production of annual art event, Mode?Show, and complete organization and operation of a guerrilla style art gallery and store, The Shop, that featured over fifteen local artists from the Amsterdam region.
