Art Director / Marketing Coordinator

My name is David Boyse, and for 12 years, I have been the Art Director/Marketing Coordinator for Fabtech Motorsports.

I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. I also attended College of the Desert Junior College in Palm Desert, California, where I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. 

As the Art Director/Marketing Coordinator for Fabtech, I take on many different leadership roles and interact with nearly every department within the company. I work closely with the company President and Vice President of Sales to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies. I continuously evaluate market trends to develop an overall vision for marketing content and brand identity. I maintain cross-departmental communication with the R&D team to coordinate and optimize the timing of content and promotions for product launches. I also manage relationships with outside vendors, product distributors, and retail customers.

My expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite programs allows me to create compelling and timely solutions for both print and digital media. To create a strong brand identity, I establish standards and apply them to a wide range of projects, from magazine ads and product catalogs to packaging and vehicle wraps. In the digital environment, I design/maintain multiple corporate websites. I leverage web analytics to design and implement effective google advertising and e-mail campaigns. Additionally, I have continued to develop my skills by creating compelling content as the in-house photographer and videographer for the last 12 years.

I have excelled at my position because I can successfully perform multiple job functions simultaneously while working with tight deadlines. I have always been a self-starter and detail-oriented while taking a systematic approach to my work. My success comes from leading with a strong creative vision, and willingness to get my hands dirty. I pride myself on working with minimal supervision to create the highest quality marketing campaigns.
