Product Developer

• Manage new orders and reorders, beginning with the initial development meeting to coordinating production: cost and IHD confirmation, issue ITO/PO, color standard submission, confirming color, finalizing garment fit and bulk, resolving vendor conflicts and TOP confirmation.
• Create tech packs (flat sketches, specs, construction, fabric/trim, color) on developments for domestic and import prototypes.
• Translate new trends and styles to the junior market after researching in-store and on fashion blogs, runways, magazines, and Style Sight.
• Send out new developments to domestic/import vendors and actively follow through on prototype review with upper management.

• Assist with managing Apparel, Accessories and Handbag SKU Plan according to season and the buying teams request. 
• Provide Design teams with product inspiration, concept, colors and prints that reflected the brand vision and customers appeal.
• Provide support to all cross-functional teams by facilitating; product line presentation, photo shoots, production concerns and fitting product. 
• Liaison for the Creative Director and Design teams in various meetings concerning product.

Assistant Merchandiser

• Managed samples; past/current seasons request, allocated dropped and incoming requested samples. 
• Communicated with overseas factories regarding development of samples; ensured samples were delivered by following a organized development log.
• Provided support for Design & Production Teams on design cards and tech packs by using programs such as; Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel.
• Organized Cost breakdown sheets provided by the factories to guarantee product was meeting target prices.

Product Development Assistant- BCBGeneration

• Met with Patternmakers, Graders, Markers and other contractors to help with development and production stages of collection. 
• Allocated materials to necessary contractors for development and production needs. 
• Assisted with styling look book shoots for sales and marketing purposes. 
• Established protocol for quality control of development/production garments/accessories. 
• Assisted with purchasing of material, trim and miscellaneous notions.
