Six years ago I made a massive career change. And I’ve never looked back.
Leaving the world of fashion in 2012, I moved back to Kansas to begin a new life as a graphic designer, turning my passion into a career. I sold all my belongings and started learning as much as I could about graphic design. I began traveling the United States, surrounding myself with all new experiences that made my comfort zone cringe. Hanging out in places I’d never “normally” visit, including anywhere I thought I’d inhale an ounce of diversity. Following my first bucket list, I ate with the homeless, gave rides to strangers, slept in my car, and met artists, designers, travelers and ski-bums — making connections from coast to coast. I continue this tradition with a new bucket list each year. Always remember, “A good day is a good day. A bad day is a good story. At the end of the day, it’s all good.”

Collaborate with creative directors and copywriters to develop design and marketing solutions for 26 luxury senior living communities. Confer with client services to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for each plan year.

Established Craft Pimp Creative and sucessfully created 200+ pieces of graphic material for clients around the world. Assisted in the production and user experience of Smarty Resume with web developers in San Diego.

Freelance Designer

Upheld graphic standards for all ads while designing, updating and placing an average of 250 pieces into 35+ publications monthly. Worked directly with clients, publishers and editors to ensure ads met all specifications and deadlines.


Lead Graphic Designer

Launched and cultivated Harrows apparel development department Designed fashion-forward sportswear based on seasonal plans. Scouted for new vendors and negotiated terms within budget.

Fashion Designer

Built rapport and worked closely with national and international vendors, sampling and building product lines. Determined needs for each of the nine catalogs collaborating with the imports team.
