Planning Manager

Innovative, hands on manager with over 10 years of operational management specializing in supply chain efficiency, supplier development and inventory management.

•	Plan and schedule work centers and production to insure optimal performance and to maintain on time delivery

Successful in achieving this by implementing a quarantine program for slow/redundant inventory and better utilization of space and resources to speed up the counting process
•	Improved on time delivery percentage to 98% by transitioning the organization away from sole-sourced purchasing to multiple vendors sourcing 
•	Improved inventory turns from 4.2 to 7.8 in six (6) months by re-evaluating product mix in the warehouse and better utilizing slow moving or obsolete inventory.  In addition established min/max levels and adopted an organizational mentality of “just-in-time” distributing.
•	Managed various projects including facility relocation, new product launches, upgrading of the ERP system & improving the IT infrastructure
•	Optimize capacity restrictions and labor allocation to insure proper execution of key performance targets
