Operations Manager

Distribution Operations Manager with over 5 years experience as a respected leader. Experience ranges from residential properties to warehousing, and includes spear heading a multi million dollar redevelopment project. Versatile professional with strengths in customer service, team building, peer development, & budgets. Responsible for managing Outbound operations for 430,000 square foot food facility. Successfully lead team of 25+ daily to achieve budgeted production numbers. Collaborate with peers to determine daily staffing need and develop successful plan to accomplish the days volume; lead nightly huddles with building peers to ensure daily plan is on par and make adjustments as needed to protect Outbound dock out times. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives through Gemba walks, team huddles, and data analysis. Responsible for all team member management; including interviewing, onboarding, talent management, reviews, and driving engagement & positive culture.

Managed all day to day operations and financials for Class A properties. Through positive rent & lease renewal growth, monthly financial review, and weekly expense monitoring, led property to YOY NOI growth. Monitor pricing daily and led monthly calls with my Revenue Management team to ensure new lease & renewal pricing were in line with current market and budgeted growth. Work with Asset Management team and vendors to ensure property was maintained to and Capital projects stayed on scheduled and within budget.
