• Direct the formulation of AdventureSmith's marketing plans through data analysis, market research, budgeting and brand planning, with the ultimate goals of generating new qualified leads and driving repeat business from our alumni travelers.

• Developed robust reporting infrastructure to understand the conversion path from the first marketing touch point to trip reservation. Analyze this data and provide opportunities and new strategies accordingly to the executive team.

• Train, coach and manage the Marketing Coordinator and other company Assistants when and where needed to help accomplish department goals.

• Research, negotiate and optimize AdventureSmith's online and traditional advertising. Build out and utilize Google Analytics, Salesforce and Act-On Software to track each campaign by medium and source for accurate ROAS evaluation.

• Create SEO optimized and engaging content to attract new customers and generate alumni traveler retention. Content is used in blogs, email marketing, press releases and various retention outlets.

• Directed 30 clients’ digital advertising campaigns, each customized according to client KPIs. Clients consisted of DMOs, hospitals, ski resorts, schools and more.

• Built, optimized and tweaked campaigns by analyzing data and historical performance to ensure the highest ROI. Typically clients saw a 2x-3x engagement compared to industry benchmarks.

• Created detailed tracking and reporting systems. Coached clients with limited digital knowledge to understand metrics, and led formal performance presentations for larger more knowledgeable clients.

• Coached, managed and trained advertising coordinator to ensure they were set up for success.

• Collaborated with the Traditional advertising team to create unique and well-rounded campaigns for
clients, ensuring target audiences were reached at key stages of the buyer’s journey.

• Upheld extensive knowledge of the newest advertising technology to ensure clients were taking

Digital Media Director

• Managed Sugar Bowl – Royal Gorge’s Ecommerce program including the initiation, setup and complete ownership of its online ticket sales system.

• Owned tiered pricing strategies and made refinements based on demand. Worked closely with operations and finance departments to optimize sales while considering guest volume and yield.

• Analyzed user behavior and sales stemming from different marketing and sales initiatives and shifted strategy based on best performers.

• Created monthly reports for our Online, Corporate and Group Sales channels and presented findings and opportunities to the administrative team.

• Trained, coached and managed the Marketing & Sales team to ensure consistent clear communication with guests as well as Corporate and Lodging partners.

• Managed company’s CRM database and email marketing communications to prospective and current passholders (>100k) and company shareholders.

• Created and managed content on company social media platforms and websites.

Marketing & Sales Manager

Responsible for managing and gaining new corporate accounts, managing sales coordinators, setting up groups coming to Sugar Bowl, planning and executing promotions and competitions, representing Sugar Bowl at tradeshows and other events.

Marketing & Sales Supervisor

Responsible for writing strategically targeted sales letters and company social media posts as well as coordinating groups (corporate, schools, etc) visiting Sugar Bowl, from first point-of-contact to post-trip followup.

Marketing & Sales Assistant

Responsible for increasing awareness of Coastkeeper’s conservation efforts by fully implementing the organization’s marketing plan through social media and networking. Also managed company’s webpage, wrote press releases and copy edited.

Marketing Intern

Assisted the company in enacting their new marketing plan by researching best practices in and outside of industry via different relevant social media avenues. After research phase was completed, created an action plan for new marketing campaign and began implementation of those action items. Tabled and represented at different events.
