Graphic Designer, Web Designer/Developer

I am a Web Developer / Designer with a background in visual arts and photography. Ideally, I'm seeking long-term, full-time employment but am open to part-time. I'm desiring to get away from working freelance and to become a part of a team. I am open to relocating anywhere up to Orange County; I am currently in San Diego.

•	Experienced with identity and branding, and its relationship to marketing and web marketing strategies. Experienced in research of product capabilities and use, and product branding. 
•	Experienced with design and layout for print and web, advertising, illustration. Experienced with typography, color theory and usage. Use of Dreamweaver or hand-coding for web development. Content Management Systems and content development.
•	Experienced with Photography, film and digital, various cameras, managing and licensing images, retouching images, and production skills, logistics, lighting technologies, and working in studio and on-location.
•	Experienced with some IT issues working with networks, servers, email, software, and hardware.
•	Exemplify above average customer service and communication skills in working with clients in a wide variety of environments.

• Manage and archive John Elwell's collection of rare historical surfing and lifestyle photographs from the 40s through the 60s. 

• Scanning, retouching, archiving, managing stock photo sales, print sales, and coordinating gallery installations.

• Contact the Surfing Heritage and Culture Center located in San Clemente, CA about media requests.

Manager & Archivist (part-time)

I contributed to re-branding Kennedy Publishing Co. Inc. to expand its marketing capabilities for the internet, and into the future. I performed web design, development & management of Kennedy Publishing's new and existing websites, and web marketing. I created graphic design for small business advertisements, and performed design, production, and layout of the print version of Coronado Directory & Guide (aka "The Kennedy Book").

Lead Designer

I contributed to a multi-state award winning marketing team focused in the urban & mixed use home development industry by helping to increase home sales. I maintained branding consistency between 21+ different branding identities (Community Developments) that are spread out Nationwide. I worked as an HTML email production artist, did link building, email marketing, website and landing page production design, and CMS maintenance and updates within Umbraco.

Jr. Web Designer

I handled all facets of production, business, and administration for still photography, in-studio or on-location, commercial, editorial, architectural, and action-watersports. My focus was in land-based and water surf photography. I was on the masthead of SURFER Magazine as a Contributing Photographer throughout the 90s, and contributed to various other surf publications, locally and internationally.
