Tinkr Labs is a research and product development company focused on cross platform development tools and services for the purpose of building and deploying best of breed SaaS products. We like to solve complex problems with simple tools.

Work in a cross functional team to deliver next generation cross platform products and services. Agile and user centered design methods: Persona Development, Journeys, Flows, Concept Development, Wire Frames, Visual Designs, Prototypes, and User Testing.

Developed from the ground up a fully functional web and mobile prototyping platform to deliver rapid prototypes of new cross platform entertainment products. 

Developed home grown responsive css framework, templates and UI components for building prototypes.

Worked closely with third party vendors, IT, Engineering teams to integrate third party API's of vendors to prototype and evaluate services.

Drove new ideas, out of the box thinking, and feature development of next generation entertainment products and services.

Sr. Manager, Digital Innovation Lab

Developed strategy, requirements, plan, and execution of new CMS implementation to power DIRECTV.com web and mobile sites. Successful rollout and integration of CMS system used across the organization by front-end implementers, producers, creative, and content teams, resulting in reduced production times, reduced errors, and an increase of site wide brand consistency.

Lead design, definition, and implementation of new acquisition flow for prospects to order DIRECTV online. Contributed to user testing initiatives and implementation of findings. Project resulted in a 19% increase in new acquisition checkout conversions.

Designed, delivered, and translated requirements to development and BA teams on multiple online self-care projects including but not limited to account management, account upgrades, customer shopping cart & checkout, and bill payment. Projects resulted in a 52% increase in self-care transactions and a 59% increase in online account registration.

A key contributor to the conception, design, development, build-out, testing, and launching of DIRECTV’s first phases of the online entertainment portal. Enabled customers to easily find, browse, favorite, record, purchase and interact online with DIRECTV’s breadth of content outside the traditional TV Guide experience. Project resulted in 7 + MM online DVR recordings. 

Drove the conceptualization to formalization of design and requirements for first generation mobile web application for customer self-care transactions. Researched and wrote documentation/strategy for best practices and limitations of mobile web design across multiple devices for the creative team. 

Drove the ideation and conceptualization phases of the 2011 projects. Delivered research findings, strategy documentation, internal and external audits, wireframes, and designs for prototyping new concepts.

Sr. Manager, Web & Mobile Product Development

Worked with stakeholders, business development and VP of Product to develop new product features and definition. Managed all UI design and implementation of the product.

Spearheaded complete redesign of next generation product and launch on new .net platform that provided new tools and ways for athletes, sport enthusiasts, and brands to connect via sponsorships, ecommerce, loyalty programs, and other sport focused social networking tools.

Accountable for all front-end development of HTML, CSS, and template system to assure brand and design integrity was maintained throughout the development and testing cycles.

Worked closely with engineering team to translate product features and designs into product requirements for engineering staff.

Worked with outside brands to conceptualize, design, and build communities, contests, and other brand portals on the SponsorHouse social network.

Federation Thought was the incarnation of a hobby/holding company. My partner and I provided Product Development Services for Software as a boutique. Services ranged from SDLC consulting to Development Deliverables to Branding/Design Work to Strategy Consulting for User Experience.

Worked within a software development environment delivering UI design, HTML, XSLT for the deployment of web based CMS and CRM solutions to power both consumer facing web sites and clients internal web based solutions.

Accountable for all design deliverables: PSD Concepts, wireframes, final PSD deliverables, and navigation models.
