After graduating college in late 2010, I fell into the lending business because I needed a job.  Starting as an assistant for an independent broker, I quickly learned the business and became licensed by the Department of Business Oversight in 2013.  Once licensed, I moved to a large mortgage company and began originating loans.  

As a loan officer, all of my leads/prospects were self generated through my marketing efforts, cold calling, and referrals from networking events.  In 2014, I closed $6.8 million in loan volume, comprised of 12 individual loans. In 2015, I started my an S corporation and began originating loans as a business owner.  Working under this structure allowed me greater flexibility in marketing strategies/execution, put me in a better tax position, and above all allowed me to offer my clients lower interest rates!  In 2015, I closed $10.8 million in loan volume, comprised of 26 individual loans.

Over the last 5 years in the lending business, I have learned how to create websites, execute successful online marketing campaigns using Facebook, and complete day to day business operations needed to remain in compliance with the state and federal agencies.

I am now looking to pursue a career that involves one of my 2 passions:  skateboarding and surfing!  I am confident that I will be a valuable member to any team due to my past work experiences, ability to learn quickly, and hunger to succeed.
