Graphic and Web Designer

Graphic / Web Designer is seeking a position with a reputable  action sports company to contribute my skills and unique  industry knowledge to benefit the creative standards  of the company.

Primary roles include working directly with the marketing department to produce designs for all printed materials including magazine ads, calendars, event fliers, and large scale trade show displays. Secondary responsibilities include UI / UX design strategy for upcoming company website redesign, designing web banners, social media graphics and strategy consulting.

American Steel Carports: (July 2014 - Nov 2014)
Hired as head of corporate website redesign and online strategy. Coordinated between the marketing department and development teams to create a functioning, easy to use UI / UX that responds for all devices and platforms. 

Information Governance Solutions: (Aug 2012 0ct 2012 / Aug 2014 - Nov 2014) 
Originally hired to a design / dev team to create the “Virgo” web application UI / UX original comps.
Currently lead designer for corporate website redesign / printed marketing materials / product design and branding for Virgo online software   

IGORA: (Aug 2010 - Dec 2010)
ipad application design: Hired through Logic Solutions to work with a team of international designers 
and developers. Client selected 3 pages of my concepts / layout design for the application development.   

Domani Architecture: (2010-2012)
Printed presentation materials: Portfolio display design, story boards stationery design, branding.    

Targeted Grain Management: (May 2012 - Dec 2012)  
ipad application design: Worked directly with the TGM engineers and developers creating UI/UX wireframes and designs for mobile devices to display their prototype weather and farming equipment.
  
Orbit Direct: (2009 -2011)
Banner Ads for Orbit Direct website and all affiliate marketing requirements, email design, UI design and consulting, AOT electronics website design and other landing pages.

Freelance Art Director

Responsible for the Art Direction of all promotional materials. Daily tasks
include updating website graphics for new content, Writing and designing sales decks and 
marketing promos, web banners, creating emailers and contests to inspire users submitted 
content, and curating our social media platforms. Aside from designing we all have to wear
multiple hats. Other tasks include managing our team of jr designers and content 
providers, covering events / photography, working with the team to study web trends 
and create strategy.

Business Development / Art Direction

Art Director

Responsible for UI design and production work for client websites such
as Oboz footwear, Syfi channel, and Cartel Tequila. Coordinates with 
developers and project  managers to trouble shoot issues and efficiently 
complete tasks in a timely manner. Consistent use of Word Press for updating 
client content. Assists art director with creative direction and marketing strategy.

Web Designer / Production Artist

Responsible for the direction of promotional media with both Print and Web. 
Improved user interface design with company website. Created micro 
websites utilizing SEO strategy and trending key words to capture the desired
online vertical.   Designs animated and static web ads for high online traffic 
locations like surfline.com and surf.solspot.com. Print and Layout includes flyers,
brochures, and ads seen in LA times, Surfer Magazine, and Transworld Magazine. 
Assists with marketing and industry research.

Graphic Designer

Worked with fast pace deadlines servicing large budget clients such as 
Hilton Hawaiian Village,Trump Towers, and American Express. Work included 
web / landing pages, online animated banners, printed content for various 
magazines and newsprint, and assisted with major ad and marketing campaigns.

Design Intern

Responsible for the production / testing of multiple online banner ads while 
monitoring click through ratios to increase web traffic to clients such as 
Bix Yahoo, Funny or Die, and College Humor. Other tasks included 
updating website UI designs / banners, Designing Contest Pages, Creating 
Media Kits, Power Point Presentations, any required printed materials.
