I have recently graduated from my MPA program and I am looking to break into the Action/Sports Industry. I have worked in localized government, most recently for the City of Huntington Beach and although it has provided me with an invaluable amount of knowledge and skills, it's not the industry I want to make my life's work. I live an active lifestyle that encompasses hard work, family, motherhood, outdoors and a colorful style that I would like my career to reflect. This would be better achieved through a fulfilling career in the Action/Sports Industry, than in my current field of small municipalities and localized government.

• Wrote and distributed the City Manager Reports bi-weekly 
• Researched, wrote and distributed press releases and collateral materials for city events, staff, and council members 
• Served as an editorial resource for drafting editorial content of City publications  
• Created, uploaded and monitored public information content for the City’s website through Contribute
• Utilized a well-developed sense of strategy and timing through the balance of multiple projects for different departments and City staff
• Assisted in the set up and break down of various City events  
• Assisted City’s PIO in planning and execution of large events including “100 Year Pier Commemoration” and “LA 2015 Special Olympics Host Town” announcement
• Assisted in the development and implementation of strategic communications plans
