Marketing Coordinator

Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously for 345 Alberstons, Vons and Pavilions
stores across Southern California
• Oversee the efforts of advertising projects as they are processed through production, photography
and proofreading, while working with the creative and prepress departments
• Interact with outside vendors and inside account teams to insure timely completion of every project
• Work with script writers and direct voice talent for weekly radio spots to ensure quality and brand standards
• Manage design team of 7 production artist and 2 graphic designers
• Get estimate bids and approvals for all projects
• Assist with model selection and hiring as needed for TV spots and/or photo shoots
for national branding projects
• Arrange delivery and installation for all POP, POS and OOH and communicate time lines directly to Director of Marketing as well as store directors and district managers
• Set up and attend weekly sales/ad review meetings and quarterly projection meetings while working closely
with the VP of marketing to ensure leadership team is current on all new and ongoing projects
• Creative layout and graphic design of all Albertsons L.L.C. advertisement projects.
• Design and propose creative elements for visual purposes in client media collateral
• Create layout comps and presentation material as requested
• Attend client meetings and present creative materials and ideas
• Collaborate with printer to ensure all specs for POS, POP, OOH and all other projects are ready for press

• Create and design lead-generating, call-to-action advertisements for high-end, glossy monthly magazine
• Develop various promotional materials such as brochures, pamphlets, magazine ads and catalogs
for print and web
• Responsible for creating advertisements, marketing materials and online banners from concept design
to customer approved final product
• Problem-solve to effectively meet all deadlines
• Strong customer service with internal clients, sales associates and outside vendors

Graphic Designer

• Creative layout and graphic design of newspaper and online advertisements for all editions of the Los Angeles Times and its various high-end magazines and local publications
• Produce a wide variety of products including, but not limited to, newspaper advertisements, newsletters, business cards, letterheads, online banners, as well as employee training materials and catalogs
• Animated gifs and pop up banners for web-based advertisers
• Inventory management for art department
• Develop online accounts for every automotive manufacturer and maintain log in and password
information to ensure legal, licensed artwork was available to all employees
• Interview and train potential candidates and new hires in art department
