• Led the $42M/yr, New Product Development team in the creation and merchandising of a portfolio of 9 unique brands exclusively for FootSmart catalog and FootSmart.com.

• Responsible for driving topline financial results for 9 proprietary business units (approx. 300 items) including footwear, slippers, socks/hosiery, health items, health devices, insoles, small electronics, exercise, and creams/lotions/gels.

• Maintained a cross functional partnership in orchestrating the seasonal business planning (sales and margin targets), product strategies, promotion strategies, inventory planning/forecasting, resource allocation, and product briefing for proprietary and Branded SMU product lines.

• Created seasonal trend presentations, which outline industry trends with respect to new technologies, seasonal color stories, competitor success’ and failures, as well as any relevant consumer purchasing trends.

• Clearly communicated product targets, expectations and launch schedules across executive, purchasing, sourcing, merchant, and creative teams.

• Implementation of product creation process' which reduced “time to market” 40 days, outlining key milestones, deliverables and responsibility drivers.

• Seasonal costing negotiations to ensure that target margins exceed an IMU average that is 20% higher, than similar branded products.

• Administered category product testing strategies to ensure proper fit, product performance/integrity, and component quality; reducing refunded return rates 6-8% below branded category averages.

• Coached and inspired a US based team of 6; comprised of 3 development managers, a Sr. Manager of Sourcing, a Director Of Manufacturing/QA and a Manager of Product Testing.
