I most recently worked as a Business Analyst for Westfield. I worked within the Shared Services department specifically within the Business Applications/Data Management group. 

I oversaw and managed the LeasingITSupport desk offering support to end users for our Westfield Leasing Management System (WLMS). As all of the deals/leases are being processed they are done so through WLMS. When the end users encounter issues with this system or need training I would be the first point of contact. I assist and facilitate the end users with resolving the issues they encounter by offering documentation, workarounds, and step-by-step processes for correctly documenting the deals. Depending on the importance of the issue it is prioritized by me and resolved on my end or it will be escalated to one of our developers. I would work side by side with the software developers to resolve the issue and also work in our testing environments to isolate the problem.  I was also responsible for adding, removing, and updating each of the end users access within the system.

This role requires in depth knowledge of each of the deal types and amendments being processed. It is also unique in that it requires you to understand each of the roles, responsibilities, and system access for each of the other departments. In order to effectively support the end users you must understand what they are authorized to approve/access and also what the business processes are within their department.

Aside from doing support for the end users I also worked on updating our documentation for the support role, running reports, locating bugs in the system, and working with our Unit Modification Tool (UMT). Working on the UMT requires me to work with our Retail Plan Management (RPM) department and updating all of the units at each of our centers to the correct Square Footage and unit numbers. This involves going through reports that are run bi-monthly to locate differences on the CAD plans and our reports and then updating accordingly.
