My career represents 15 years of experience in managing the development & production for global product lines, collaborating on innovative designs & apparel sourcing. With advanced knowledge in costing and manufacturing process. I have a proven track record of delivering 1,000,000 on-time units per season that comply to all US quality and legal company standards as well as CMA compliance for China market in addition to meeting or exceeding gross margin targets. 

• Manage, develop, engineer, fit, BOM creation & wear testing for the most innovative, advanced golf wear. Recent projects include engineered body mapping, quilted outerwear, rain wear, bonding and fully fashion knits.

• Saved Adidas Golf $165,000 per season by re-designing, developing and negotiating price on our bottom’s gripper waistband.

• Meet target margin each season through predictive costing and a template menu I created for design and PM to use as guideline for our bottom’s category. 

• Improved production efficiency during a short-term assignment in Tokyo by aligning both Global & Asia-Pacific garment constructions, created one workmanship manual for factories, consolidated materials to share MOQ, and gained better understanding of our Asia customer needs. 

• Design/Develop samples for Design and PM to show vendor capabilities, improved constructions, marker efficient style lines and innovative designs based on market trends and customer input. This in turn has helped me maintain a goal of 85% approvals at 2nd proto. 

• Established and managed a new tech pack hand over process that has helped decreased tech pack discrepancies to factories and improved workload efficiency. 

• I have a proven ability to work with and inspire several individuals by sharing best practices and always finding a more efficient way to work toward our common goal. I keep both my team & cross functional teams up to date on upcoming deadlines.

• Key User for PLM system. I keep the team continuously updated on changes and new process, train team where needed as well as onboarding new hires.


Was an apparel manufacture specializing in production and development for Military Uniforms, fashion, sportswear brands such as Prana and many local cycling brands. 
 
• Tracked and monitored progress of all product development and production as needed as well as managing the relationship between both departments. 

• Technical designer for K. Roque label: creating technical data packages, BOMS, specing, reviewing and recording all sample specs and comments.

• Purchased and sourced all necessary components as well as coordinated with subcontractors for both inline and private label accounts.


Product Developer, 

Nationally recognized lifestyle brand producing junior/young contemporary denim, fashion bottoms and outerwear.

• Developed assigned categories, managed communication between customer needs and factories. Worked along side, pattern maker to ensure execution of fit intent. Created specifications for all styles assigned, sourced for and negotiated trims with both domestic and overseas suppliers. 

• In conjunction with VP of production, evaluated prospective overseas vendors and coordinated production and delivery schedules from order placement to in house delivery. 

• Managed and coordinated all private label production for companies like Wal-Mart, Anchor Blue and Limited Too; coordinated with their nominated suppliers in ordering trims, and ensured quality through third party services.
