Associate Designer

Create computer-aided designs: graphics, print artwork, multiple colorways and storyboards Develop flat mechanical sketches for design development packages
Approve fabric samples, lab dips, strike-offs and other development materials
Work on multiple deadlines simultaneously to achieve 100% on-time collections Communicate with various sourcing/development vendors throughout the design process to develop/approve garment components
Create garment construction sheets for overseas factories
Maintain all design records throughout the design season
Create and maintain seasonal linesheets
Participate in fitting garments and review details to ensure product execution meets the design aesthetics as well as commercially acceptable quality standards
Adhere to the seasonal time and action calendars
Participate in research and development of seasonal trends

Responsible for all material selection, color details, and styling details
